Traveling on the historic Douro train 

The Douro Historic Train runs on the rails again, between July and October. Traveling on the Douro Historic Train is like taking a trip back in time. On a route along the Douro River, the steam locomotive and the 5 historic carriages travel the distance from Régua to Tua, in a unique journey into the past, marked by the beauty of the landscape classified by UNESCO as World Heritage.
