Aveleda promotes harvest program

Aveleda, the largest producer in the Vinhos Verdes region and a reference in the area of Wine Tourism, is organizing its first harvest program between the 2nd and 9th of September for enthusiasts of all ages, which will complement the already a wide range of activities on the property. Every harvest day, at 9am, wine tourists are welcomed at the welcome center and directed to harvest the grapes. Mid-morning, a wine and snack tasting follows and, if you wish, you can even venture out to make your own bread to enjoy during the traditional lunch that will be served, along with the famous harvest soup. The program ends with a visit to Aveleda’s historic gardens, with more than 8 hectares where 120 species of fauna and flora are located. The overall cost of the program is €95 per person (50% for children aged 5 to 12). In addition to the harvest program, there are different activities every day:

On September 2nd, the Workshop: Wine Crafts will be available, accompanied by live music from 8pm. This program costs €40.

On the 3rd, 6th and 8th, activities include the ‘Escape Garden’ game and also a harmonized wine tasting, costing €25.

On days 4 and 7, the experiences include the Workshop: Painting with Wine and also a harmonized wine tasting, costing €65.

Finally, on the 5th and 9th, activities include the Workshop: Wine Workshop with special guests on each day and a harmonized wine tasting, for a cost of €45.

Those who wish can also increase the number of hours of the activity, and complement it with additional programs for the selected day.
