ALTA – Alto Teor d’Alentejo event promotes Alto Alentejo wine tourism in Lisbon

On June 14, 2025, between 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., Casa do Alentejo in Lisbon will host the ALTA – Alto Teor d’Alentejo wine tourism event. This initiative is organized by the Portalegre Polytechnic Institute (IPP) and the Portalegre School of Tourism and Hospitality (ETHP), with the institutional support of the Alentejo Regional Wine Commission, the Alentejo and Ribatejo Regional Tourism Authority, the Portuguese Wine Tourism Association and Casa do Alentejo.
During the event, the main Alto Alentejo wine producers, who also offer wine tourism experiences, will be present with exhibitions and tastings dedicated to their products. The general public will have the opportunity to get to know and taste the region’s wines, as well as explore the tourist offers associated with each participating wine tourism unit.
In addition to the exhibitions, there will be exclusive presentation sessions for guests and pre-registrants, with wine tastings and gastronomic pairings prepared by ETHP chefs. Registration and the detailed program of sessions will be announced shortly. The event aims to strengthen the promotion of wine tourism in Alto Alentejo and highlight the quality of the region’s wines.
